Create your first post

This is the third step of "Start here". The carousel you finished during onboarding is, in practice, your first post. From here the idea is to create posts on your own — and discover the two paths for it, always with arOS creating and formatting based on your DNA.

Path 1 — Through the chat (working the copy)​

The fastest way to start. In the chat you talk to arOS to produce the post's copy — the text of the cards — always based on your DNA. While it's still text, you refine it right there: ask for a stronger hook, shorten a card, change the CTA.

When the copy is the way you want, just ask arOS to generate the carousel. It shows up right there in the chat, as a card with a preview of the slides and two buttons:

  • Download — downloads the carousel right away;
  • Edit — opens the post in the Posts editor (where you polish the visuals and edit with AI).

The carousel is already saved to your Posts hub.

The chat works the copy, not the post

In the chat you edit the text (the copy), before generating the carousel. Once it's generated, editing the visuals happens in the Posts editor — that's what you'll see in the next step.

Path 2 — Through the Posts menu​

The Posts section is your hub for carousels and artwork. To create from scratch:

  1. Click "New post".
  2. Choose "Create from scratch" to open the Carousel Editor with a blank slide.

In the Editor you lay everything out visually: the central canvas, the slide strip at the bottom (up to 20 slides) and the side panel with Layout, Slide (background), Fonts and Brand — all aligned to your visual identity (DNA). You can switch the format between 4:5, 1:1 and 9:16, and the layout adapts on its own.

Which path should I use?

There's no right or wrong. The chat is faster to produce the copy and generate the carousel; the Editor gives full control over the visuals and is where you edit afterwards. Most people start in the chat and polish in the Editor.

Mark the step as complete​

After creating your first post (through either path), go back to the card and click "Mark as complete". Once done, the step shows a "View posts" button that takes you straight to your Posts hub.
